An excellent quality
Belgian 8-day striking, slender longcase clock in carved oak, signed on
the dial on a brass cartouche and exceptionally on the backplate of the
movement Joseph Croisier à Liège, "Dutch striking"
meaning striking full hours on a large bell on the whole hours and full
on a small bell on the half hours, alarm, brass dial, pewter chapter-ring,
the spandrels depicting the four seasons. Height 273 cm.
