Louis XVI marble mantel clock, signed Dancele à Paris

one/two week duration movement with circular plates, anchor escapement, count wheel strike on bell; multicoloured signed enamel dial with Arabic hour and date chapters,  pierced, engraved and gilded brass hands on a 7-points chiselled star, the date hand in blued steel; two symmetrical goat-riding brass cherubs carrying the drum case housing the movement, surmounted by a half-draped Bacchante, on a white marble ormolu mounted rectangular plinth with round edges on toupee feet; height 52 cm, around 1780
